Stolen Laptop
The other day my laptop was stolen while I was at school. At first I was flipping out but then I remembered that my dad had signed me up for carbonite.com. This is an online data backup service which stores all of my information in a remote server. I filed a police report and then called my dad to ask him if we could get a new laptop. He was upset that it was stolen, but glad that I wasn’t hurt when it happened. He ordered me a laptop and had it overnighted to me and then gave me the user name and password for carbonite so I could retrieve my files. I love my dad.
