How many people believe in psychics?

In 2005 Gallup, the leader in surveys found that an incredible 41% of Americans believe in psychic readings. The very same Gallup survey found that 26% of Americans believe in clairvoyance and 31% believe in telephonic communication. While this is really amazing, what is completely shocking is another study conducted by Oklahoma City University found that the belief in psychics was more common among college seniors and graduate students than among their freshman classmates. Oklahoma City University’s study suggested that people with a higher education level are much more likely to trust a psychic advisor than people with less education.
