Shift Work Blues
Unfortunately I am a shift worker. Even worse than working nights, I work at a job where I am required to rotate shifts every 6 weeks. My body never has a chance to adjust to the new routine. I have tried everything I can get my hands on to sleep better. I’ve use over the counter pills, prescription pills, herbals, meditation, and several other things. All of these things help to some extent, but the more they seem to help the more side effects that come with them. Th bottom line is that there is no substitute for good old-fashioned natural sleep.
