Prostate
The prostatic part (pars prostatica) is nearest to the bladder and passes through the prostate. It is about 2.5 cm in length. This part, its middle portion in particular, is the widest and most distensible segment of the urethra. On its posterior wall it bears a small median eminence, the seminal colliculus (colliculus seminalis), which is about 1.5 cm in length. On the apex of the colliculus is a small, slit-like opening leading into a small blind pouch in the substance of the prostata; it is called the prostatic utricle (utriculus prostaticus), or the male uterus (uterus masculinus)medical billing training
