The foot with those with Diabetes
The foot in those with diabetes is at increased risk for the development of complications. Many things associated with diabetes puts the foot at risk. Diabetes is associated with a high level of obesity and just this alone put increased pressures on the foot. Those with diabetes have problems with delayed healing when something does go wrong. They also tend to have poor circulation to the feet which the foot at further risk for damage and poor healing. The nerve damage that can occur also puts the foot at risk because when damage does happen it is not felt so the damage can lead to a serious one and it worsen.
