Running My First Marathon

For the past seven months, I have been training for a marathon I want to run in May. The continuous training has been good for me overall, yet my back often hurts after a run. I mentioned this to my doctor the other day and he gave me a great piece of advice. He suggested I work on strengthening my core muscles. With each step I take while running, my spine rotates to an extent. By strengthening my muscles through ab exercises for men, I can reduce this wear on my spine. It will also help me to maintain good balance and posture. I’m looking for exercises which focus on this area now as I really want to run in this marathon.
