My Harvest America Grocery Price Comparison vs Winco, Walmart & Fred MeyerOn a small order  of 28 items (soup, triscuits, juices, etc.), we saved $14 off the lowest prices in town.  Our total order was $35.50.  I went to Winco, Walmart and Fred Meyer (Kroger) to price the same items.  We would have spent $49.30 at Winco, $49.97 at Walmart, and 59.25 at Fred Meyer.  That’s a savings of $14 (30%) off the lowest prices in town, and $24 (40%) lower than Fred Meyer  where we usually end up shopping most of the time due to convenience.  Let me emphasize this was a small  order.  We were amazed how much we could save by shaving ¢10 – $1.00 on every item.  The hard cost savings, not to mention the soft cost savings (our time) really adds up.  This is the biggest no-brainer I’ve ever seen.
