Travel Insurance Needs to be Purchased in Advance
Travel insurance is a good thing to pick up if you’re traveling either to a foreign country or a long distance. You might be traveling to Alaska for example, from Florida. This is a long distance, and things will be done very differently in Alaska. Travel insurance would make sense. Or, you might be traveling to Europe for the first time, or to Southeast Asia. Culturally, but also administratively, things will be done completely different in these areas. You should definitely purchase insurance well before your trip. Which brings up another point. Insurance needs to be purchased well in advance, well before your scheduled trip.
