The Amazon Kindle Impact On Amazon Prime Membership

I read an interesting blog post the other day by an amazon kindle user who had decided to cancel their subscription to Amazon Prime – the annual premium delivery service which lets users have faster delivery for a single annual payment. Since they were using the Kindle more and more, most of their deliveries were electronic downloads of Kindle books direct from the Amazon web site. It wasn’t, in his opinion, worth paying the $ 79 annual fee for membership of Amazon Prime. It’s an interesting discussion, which just shows the advantages of the Kindle. Apart from the financial side of things, there is no cost to the environment (or very little) associated with electronic downloads.
