I learned I was going to be an uncle on a Skype video conference call

My sister called three days ago. She was all smiles, which is rare these days, she’s got a very stressful job and her boss is quite the tyrant. I asked ‘what’s up, you look good sis” And sure enough, she had quite a good reason to be, she’s pregnant. It’s funny, she’s been with her boyfriend for about two years, but I would never have thought she would have gone and actually gotten pregnant. She’s definitely not the kind and she always said she wanted to wait. The cool thing is, I don’t live in the same country since last November, so I don’t get to see here much. But thanks to skype, not only did I hear it from hear, not a mail, but I even saw her, which was cool. Ive never had a Skype Problem. Nothing shows yet of course, so no big belly to show, but it’s cool to know she’s expecting and that she’s delighted by it, and learning it like that is the second best thing after IRL
