Hoping For a Promotion at The Press Release Distribution Company I am Working For

I have recently been hired as a customer service representative at a press release distribution company.  While being in customer service is not exactly what I want to be doing, I am happy to be working at the company that I work for as I am majoring in marketing in college and consider my position to be a foot in the door.  Once I graduate, I am hoping that the company that I work for will offer me a job writing press releases or something along those lines as that is the type of work that I want to be doing.
