Searching cell phone numbers is easy

22 February 2010

With all the controversy surrounding one particular athlete right now, I’ve read more jokes about the use of cell phones and text messages than I care to think about.  And, I’ve even managed a laugh or two at someone else’s expense.  However, one joke that did come across as quite funny came from a celebrity magazine, I’m not sure of the exact phrase but it was something like “if a man really wanted to get away with cheating, he would store his other girlfriends numbers in his phone as “low battery”.  Yea, you could try that but chances are a quick online look at sites that offer the ability to search cell phone numbers will render you caught.

Key dates for the British Museum

17 February 2010

The fascinating and much admired national treasure that is the British Museum is now over 250 years old. Having in fact celebrated the 251th anniversary since it was first opened to the public last month, here are a few key dates associated with this renowned institution: Founded in 1700 by Sir Hans Sloane, the museum began life as a private collection and was not officially opened to the masses until 15 January 1759. Various extensions and expansions took place over the next couple of hundred years, with the most recent being the addition of the Great Court, which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000.

One click installation

04 February 2010

Looking for web hosting company? Here’s some information. As a mere suggestion you may want to think about how good the customer services. Hosting companies provide empty disk space. Some provide a lot more. It also makes sense to get information from social networks and review sites. A good review can tell you a lot about a site. This review also has a GoDaddy hosting coupon, so take a read and save some money. You may want to be sure to look at all the different features. As a suggestion I would look at the one click installation. It is an amazing feature for a hosting company and you will love the time it saves.

LPN Scope of Practice

01 February 2010

To say that the scope of practice of a LPN is big and wide-ranging, will possibly be an understatement. Yes, the point is true – Lpn Scope Of Practice does cover a lot of things, said and unsaid. After all, keeping a patient satisfied and looking after him or her can turn out to be a challenging task and that’s probably why we say that the scope of practice of a LPN doesn’t have everything written, yet nurses have to rise to challenges thrown at them all the while. To start with, they must get into a habit of always being in a position to help the patients out with their needs.

The Staff Was Excited about Where Things Were Going

21 January 2010

It was about seven at night when the party started. We had doubled our goals for this quarter and the staff met them. We were excited that we were able to pull it off, and that the revenue was climbing high. The thank you gifts were my idea. I wanted everyone to know that a job well done mattered. The note pads and magic pens were great. People could not wait to get them in their hands. I told my staff that they could count on seeing more of these gifts if they kept up the great work. They were thrilled to hear me speak.

Learn to Read and Read to Learn

19 January 2010

The irony in learning to read is that once you’ve learned how to form words, to inject your own style into both writing and reading, and so forth, you will then have access to a much more powerful world. In this world you will no longer learn to read but more so read to learn. It’s like the tables have turned and now the tool you learned to use is weilded to bring you a sense of awareness, knowledge, and to comprehend the world around you. Once you learn to read you are open to the depth the world has in store!

Halloween Movie Making Contest

18 January 2010

Our good friends are having their yearly Halloween party and this year they want everyone to submit a 2 minute movie. My husband refuses to be in it, but my gay mormon friend said she would do it. I was laughing. She doesn’t look like a guy at all, although my gay mormon friend did win a contest years ago for being the best looking man dressed as a woman. She went to this bar with some friends and didn’t have the heart to tell them she really was a woman. How embarrassing! Still need an idea for our movie.

Patenting Great Ideas

14 January 2010

My father is one of the smartest people that I have ever known. He is always coming up with ideas to help my mother out around the house. He makes different gadgets all the time, and she says that they really do help her out a lot. Other than that, he has never really done anything with his great talent. The last gadget that he made was great and I even had him make one for me. I liked it so much, that I finally convinced him to fill out a patent application for it. He is selling them like crazy, so I am glad that I convinced him.

Giving a Eulogy for My Birth Mother

11 January 2010

Attending my mother’s funeral is a painful experience. I really wanted to be there, but I did not want to say goodbye to my mother, not yet. It is much too soon. I feel like I have just really gotten to know her in the last few years. Now I’m giving her eulogy to people who know her better than I did. Because my mom couldn’t take care of me, I was given up for adoption as a baby. For years I never even knew I had another mother somewhere. When we finally reconnected a year ago, we had to squeeze a life time into twelve short months. At least I have those memories.
