As a stay at home mom, I was never a person to just sit around. Having children makes that an almost impossible task. I started making candles and soap with the children so that we could do something together and save us a little money in the process. I gave a candle to my friend and the cycle began. In the end, I hired some of my friends as independent contractors to keep the business going. After getting everyone their 1099′s I filled out the IRS 1096 Form with the totals that everyone made and we were all shocked. We are taking a month off before we get busy again.
