Pumps In Surgery
27 December 2009
Have you ever wondered, even for just a little bit, what they use surgical vacuum pumps for? I know they must use them to get rid of any pooled blood, mucus, and fluid from the body. But what else. I guess if you get liposuction you would need a vacuum pump. To remove all the fat, and transfer into the little tanks, all bloody and messy. And the dentist uses a vacuum pump, so you don’t have to lean over and spit. I think that is a very handy pump, since you cant feel your mouth. It keeps you from spitting on yourself.
